Here's my response to the criticism of the Tesla: Fuck you Wall Street Journal!
You just don't get how gasoline cars are already dead, do you?
All this now shows is how far ahead electric cars are now, and as the performance and capabilities increase every year the BEVs can now see all those preposterous and obsolete monsters in their rear view mirror.

As I crossed 18500 miles in my i3, far superior mechanically than any car within quite a large radius I believe, I can savor my low footprint, my utmost disdain for wars in foreign countries done in the name of that black shit from the ground we absolutely do not need to die for, and the idiocy of a kleptocracy that is stuck in the 19th century.
A steampunk fantasy would be far superior technologically than the era those dinosaurs come from.
Of course it's an insult to Dinosaurs. They were steward of the Earth for 160 million years and kept it in good shape, in fact better than what the descendants of rats and cockroaches we are after the meteor hit an ecosystem in its primes.
That ecosystem is still reeling today from that catastrophic holocaust of Life 65 million years ago, and doesn't need the ravages our species already inflicted on it.
That is my little emotional piece today. You see... electric cars are emotion stirring, they trigger such things as Love, capacity to be compassionate and understand the price of a sacrifice for the common good.
In comparison, here's a piece of comical observation on those who drive gasoline cars:
